TIPS MEMBUNGKUS SEPEDA

Bila ingin traveling, sering kita bingung ketika ingin membawa sepeda, apalagi kalo itu sepeda kesayangan. Memang perlu penanganan khusus ketika ingin membawa sepeda ka dalam transportasi umum, seperti kereta api, bus, kapal laut, bahkan pesawat udara.

Selamat mencoba!

2 big wins for Enarson at Dew SLC

Dennis Enarson had one of those weekends, he won Dirt on Saturday and had the Park comp in the bag Sunday.
An amazing accomplishment to say the least.

Dennis is the number one all around rider right now and with having a bunch of magazine coverage lately, winning contests, a couple of silver medal's at X games, a Demolition video part about to drop that with blow people away, 2010 is looking like Dennis' year.

Dennis won park in Salt Lake City by doing big tricks like nose to bar off the wall, flip whipping the spine, opposite trucking and seat grab barring the 16ft box, combined with over all riding of the entire course, doing a transfer that only Dennis did.

Congrats mate, you're on fire.

More info on the comp is here on ride including a video

And here is some pics of Marcus, Ronnie and Dennis from the event. Ronnie Napolitan made the his first final for Dew Tour and had a rough run on the big day, but making the final is tough these days, so he was stoked with that.

Enarson and Long top the podium

nic-dennis

Nic Long, our newest addition to the Haro/Rockstar race team, and Dennis Enarson have been good friends since they were young. Dennis used to race on Nic's fathers team, back in his early years as a racer. Now as team mates once again, they both topped the podium today and made us proud as usual. This afternoon at the Dew Tour in Salt Lake City, Dennis brought home the win in the BMX Dirt Final with a 92.54. With his win, he got a ton of cash and what looks to be some custom painted wake board??

Meanwhile in San Diego, Nic was competing in the UCI Bmx Supercross World Cup. With over 150 riders entered in yesterdays time trial, only the top 64 were to qualify on to tonight's main event. Nic qualified easily into the top 64 yesterday after only needing to use 1 of his 2 attempts. Tonight, he started his night off with a 5th in the first moto, 2nd in his next moto and I believe another 2nd in his 3rd moto.  From there, he breezed on through the quarter and semi finals into the main event. In the main, Nic didn't get the start he was looking for and nearly swapped the second jump. That didn't stop him though as he kept it wide open and moved up through traffic and to the front of the pack. In the last turn, the door opened for a high-low pass and Nic was gone, bringing home the overall win and a custom painted guitar from Troy Lee Designs, but not before stopping for a quick puke and rally session! Congrats boys, on your new wake boards and guitars aha.

In other news, one of our racers [Jason Rogers] got his bike stolen out of the back of the Haro truck here in San Diego on Wednesday. Today at the Dew Tour, Ryan Nyquist got his bike stolen, too! So not only are Haro Bikes topping podiums from Salt Lake to SD, they are highly desirable among thieves. Haha. Haro bikes can't be stopped!

I'm out, 8am flight to Vegas for Interbike [gun please].

Enarson Wins Dirt at Dew!

DennisPodium

Hot, Dry and Windy conditions were what the riders had to deal with in Salt Lake City today for the dirt finals.
Ryan Nyquist battled with a neck sprain all weekend and although he made it into the final today, he wasn't shredding his usual style. I'm sure Ryan will chill for a week and the injury should improve.

Dennis took down the "Mad Dog" who had won the 2 previous Dew stops in Dirt with great trail flow and big moves all the way down the pack. Flip-whips, double whips, superman seat grab bar, opposite trucks, and an opposite double whip were just some of the moves that Dennis did to win, all done with confidence and a look of experience.

Dennis is up for NORA cup next week for Number One Dirt rider and also Number One Ramp rider, I have my money on him winning a couple more things this coming week...

Ronnie Naps and Enarson move to finals

RonnieSuper
The Haro team is at the "Dew Tour" this weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Today Ronnie Napolitan squeaked into his first finals in park to join his teammate Dennis Enarson who had a great 2nd run to qualify in 2nd.
Ryan Nyquist had to sit out today after a neck sprain injury he has had the last 2 days. Ryan hopes to be feeling better for tomorrows Dirt final.

The Park finals in on Sunday.

Napolitan and Enarson make the cut!

RonnieSuper
Ronnie Naps rode really well today and made it into his first park final in his two year Dew Tour career. Ronnie was on the bubble for a minute but manage to hold on. Congrats!
Ronnie joins his buddy and team mate Dennis Enarson who dominated his second run tonight putting him in 2nd place. The park final is on Sunday.

Ryan Nyquist had to sit out today in park due to a neck sprain, but will be hopefully feeling better for the Dirt final tomorrow. Ryan has iced around 18 times today and has been getting worked on by the Dew Tour doc's, so we'll see how he goes tomorrow.

ABA Blackjack Nationals / NBL Grand Nationals

YJ3E2252

While most of us were getting ready for the 3 day holiday weekend, Haro sponsored riders were preparing to do work on the track from Louisville to Reno. In Reno, Khalen Young and Nic Long had a great weekend. On Saturday, Long finished a solid 4th place in Elite Men while his team mate brought home the abominable snowman. Sunday was a better day for the bash brothers, after going 1 and 2 in their semi, Nic finished 2nd with KY behind him in 3rd in the final. Marc Willers finished up 4th while Morphine Industries’ Gavin Lubbe picked up Frosty the Snowman on day two in Elite Men. In Sunday’s Elite main event, 4 of the 8 gates were filled with Haro Race Lites, pretty impressive if you ask us! In the A-Pro class, Tony Hoffman dominated on his Race Lite, never losing a lap all weekend. $200 more in winnings and T-Hoff joins the AA ranks. The Answer/Supercamp riders finished right behind Tony on day 2, Deak Brown with a second and team mate Lee Lewis in the 4th spot. Good job boys!

In Louisville, the Haro sponsored Madera riders Tyler Faoro and Joey Albright were both going for yearend titles. Tyler, after finishing 5th in the Elite Men final, ended his season #3 AA Pro for the year. In the old dude pro class, Joey Albright went wire to wire in the main event bringing home the #1 Vet Pro plate for the year. Morphine Industries/Haro squad brought home a few podium finishes. Most notable the domination by Damien Chrepko in the 16 expert class, #1 for the year after winning every lap. Damien’s team mates Richie Dey and Noah Reeves both finished up #2 for the year in 11x and 13x, respectively. Thanks for the awesome season guys!

The 7000 series aluminum Haro Race Lite features a triple butted top tube, double butted down tube, tapered seat stay, and fully integrated head tube; all for just $269.00. If that isn't impressive enough, who else offers a 21" frame at 3lbs 6oz without costing an arm and a leg? While other brands are hydro forming top tubes to remind you of your beach cruiser, or selling you a $450 frame built out of the same tubing as your brothers little league baseball bat - we'll save the gimmicks and just offer you the facts. It's black and white, the Haro Race Lite is the best frame on the market and we don't need to stuff any ballots to prove it. Designed & ridden by the best in the sport, period.

Now on Vimeo and Facebook! September Update, Evolution Revelation '87, '89

In the latest segment of Evolution Revelation, we flash back to 1987 and the Velodrome world-record shoot. Most notable this day was maximum TV cheese in which producers insisted that Josh White got the highest air. Brian Blyther clearly went higher. Very high-tech method of measurement I must say.

Blyther finally did get the official record and held it..until Hoffman came along. This event is a great snapshot of uniforms and big dollars. The drastic change in the industry from 87 to 89 is so obvious in this old footage.
Next, witness 1989: AFA Masters in Austin, Texas. This ancient arena in Austin has been the venue for some serious BMX history over the years. Pretty intense competition for a 'dead' sport. In the year of bashguards and the street-riding-craze, flatlanders were still busting out and taking tricks well beyond Cherrypickers and Miami-Hoppers.

Perry Mervar, Ruben Castillo, John Huddleston, Josh Marsele, James Shepherd, Bryan Blyther, Josh White, Steve Broderson, Dave Voelker
