Kids Bikes review Schwinn Backpacks

ABA Grands in the books.

Just touched down after a long weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Glad to be back in San Diego even if it means I'm back at the office desk tomorrow grindin' :). Grands is a wrap. Khalen ended up 2nd from lane 8 at the Race of Champions on Friday night. Saturday was two rounds of qualifying for the big show on Sunday evening. Khalen seemed solid come main time but ended up 7th overall after some bumping in the corners. The number one pro title went to Randy Stumpfhauser, Khalen gave Randy his jersey and congratulated him on the podium which was cool.

Other highlights included Morphine Industries riders all showing up riding Haro Race LT frames, we are happy to have them on board. Paul Wassenaar won the 16 expert main event and NAG 1 for the year on his Race LT. Greg Romero won Vet Pro on Friday night, Haro mounted.

Haro Athletes at ABA Grand Nationals

I'm out here in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the ABA Grand Nationals. Got here on Wednesday and enjoyed Ruby Tuesday for Thanksgiving. Hope everyone spent some quality time with the family and had a good feed. Tonight was the Pro Spectacular here in Tulsa. Haro guys Khalen Young and Steven Cisar were looking good with top 3 finishes all through the qualifiers this morning. They were in the same semi final and Khalen was the only one to qualify to the main after Steven had a bad start. Khalen finished a solid 2nd which was rad. Tomorrow is round 1 and 2 of the Grand Nationals and Sunday is 3rd moto, semis and main events. Khalen looks like he's just crawled out from under a rock with his haggard beard. Updates on Sunday.

We bought this helmet for our son, then 15 months old. And, of course, was still too big for him, despite the adjustments. Plus, it was not too thrilled to wear a helmet or not. In fact, one day you could also do one-way street, while riding. But now, after only wear around the house a bit 'every few days, loves it! We also keep a baseball cap on him under the helmet to get it from slamming on the eyes. This seemedto do the trick! And 'now after about 5 months and we are still very happy with my purchase very satisfied. Wheel on the back is the key, because there are a lot of time on foot are a matter before he wants to stop. The back is relatively flat (not as good) than other helmets, and we have a home for the Topeak bike, so something is definitely not a problem, has decreased over the helmet to be too bulky in the back. Fitting a Helmet
Here are some guidelines to getting the best fit for a bike helmet.

• Eyes: The rim of the helmet should be up to 1 to 2 finger widths above the eyebrows
• Ears: The straps should form a V under just beneath the ear lobe
• Mouth: When the rider opens her mouth, the buckle should feel snug on the chin and the helmet should hug the head

Before using the helmet, stand in front of the mirror and grab the helmet with both hands and twist it to the left and to the right. Big Steve Taiwan Death Egg Fail.

When we go abroad for product development trips, there is not many familiar places we see other than 7-11, Mcdonalds, and Subway if we're lucky. Well, 7-11 here in America has hot dogs and cheeseburgers that most of us won't eat. Taiwan 7-11 has a hot pot with what we like to refer to as the "Taiwan Death Egg." When you walk into 7-11 in Taiwan the entire place reeks the smell of the rancid death egg. On our recent trip, Allan brought back a bunch of sketchy foods to send to our team guys and death egg in saran wrap was among the list. One of our inside sales reps, Big Steve [pictured washing his mouth out in the sink] agreed to eat one of the eggs for $12 dollars. He didn't even get half way through and he gave up. Probably one of the more ruthless things I've seen anyone eat for a dare. Would you eat one?

On November 1st I was having a flatland session (as I always do) with only Dakine at the Target parking garage in what I call my home area, the South Bay. Apparently I slammed directly to my face without any assistance from my hands and was knocked out. Once awake I phoned a friend to find out what I was even doing and then I began to call all of my local friends because I couldnt figure out where I was! I couldnt even recognize my home streets but somehow I had packed up my bag, bike, and dog and was driving around trying to locate Torrance Medical. As I was driving I kept forgetting what I was doing so all I remember is I kept "waking up" and would be driving down the street! Really scary!!



Thanks to Jeff for the navigation assistance haha and to CheiAnne for coming to get me. Not only do I not remember what trick I fell doing but I dont really remember most of the week after. I took 7 stitches in my eye, 4 inside of my mouth and all of my top left side teeth were loose. The cat-scan showed no long term damage and they said my teeth wouldnt all fall out, yay! This is definitely the hardest Ive ever fallen!

This was his second go at the power hour after getting injured his first shot.
