Reno Season opener

3M5G5704

Last weekend was the ABA Season opener in the biggest little city on earth and what a fun trip it was. BMX Product Manager Chris Raceles and our boss AC Fabulous AKA Allan Cooke showed up to their first race in over 10 years. Allan and Chris both banged elbows in the 17 & over open and intermediate classes on Saturday. Allan won his class after a last second pass at the finish line, and Chris was winning his class but ran out of steam after casing a double on the second straight. Allan got called a sand bagger in staging so you know 28-35 intermediate is scared of AC. It was pretty funny seeing Allan do a tail whip in a couple of his motos. Steven Cisar and I raced in the AA Pro class. Steven had a bad weekend and I made the semi final on Saturday and choked. Fun none the less and my first time racing in a year. Next weekend is the second stop of the series in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Steven Cisar is going there solo for redemption. Khalen Young and I will be in Florida for round 3. Check out the photo gallery, Allan is at the doctor today and they made him wear that mask in fear that he may have the Swine Flu. The moto laps must have taken a toll on ol' Allan, get well soon!
